MAG were commissioned to build a bespoke steam and shower enclosure in an existing room for a private house in Suffolk. The customer’s brief was that the new steam room was to fit in with the existing room and to offer a steam area in which the users could lie down and relax, but that could also be used as a luxury shower.

We constructed a bespoke steam enclosure using shower wall panels internally with matching body and mosaic tiles externally and a bespoke wetroom base to the steam room. A thermostatically controlled drench shower head with an adjustable smaller head were provided for showering. We used a Helo thermostatic steam generator as a steam source, steam proof lights on the ceiling of the room and provided marine speakers and a CD player radio for entertainment while the room is in use. In order for the customers to lie down in comfort we commissioned a bespoke hardwood bench to be made to fit exactly the dimensions of the room.

The room was delivered to a very high standard, to budget and programme and our customers are very pleased with the result.
